Facilities at Langland Cove Guesthouse

Our access statement page gives you information about accessibility to help you decide if Langland Cove Guesthouse is suitable for you. If you have any specific requests or questions that you would like to discuss with us, please call or email and we will do our best to help.

We have three private parking bays approximately 50 meters from the property. There is also free parking on Rotherslade Road, a tarmac road with a gradient, sloping gently down. With notice, we can reserve you a space directly outside the property entrance if required.
There are ten concrete steps leading up to the front door to access the property – they are one meter wide at the narrowest point and vary in height and depth from 14cm to 22cm high, and 26cm to 43cm deep. There is a handrail on the right. At the front door, a small lip of 2.5cm must be crossed.

House Layout
The house is on two levels; ground and first floor. On entering, the ground floor is level throughout and the flooring is sandstone paving slabs which, owing to the natural properties of the stone, are uneven in places.
Doorways to the rooms range from 72cm to 76cm wide.
The breakfast room leads off the main hall and has a solid wooden floor which is all on one level.
There are a further 19 steps to the first floor, and this stairway is 93am wide. Each step is 18cm high and 25cm deep. There is a handrail on the right.

En-Suite Bedrooms
All these bedrooms are on the first floor.
All our bedrooms have carpeted floors; all our en-suites have tiled flooring in natural slate which is uneven in places. There is no threshold between the bedrooms and their en-suites.
All rooms are equipped with en-suite bathrooms with a walk in shower. There is a 10cm lip on each shower tray.
The bedrooms are lockable with a turn-key lock inside.
The televisions in the room are all equipped with teletext and freeview.
Each bedroom has ceiling spotlights, controllable from the door. There are also bedside lamps on each side of the bed controlled using wall switches.
The duvets and pillows are made of a synthetic filling, suitable for people with allergies. We do have some feather pillows so please ask if you prefer all allergy free.
Heating is thermostatically controlled centrally and can be adjusted on request.
Guest welcome information are available in large print on request.
Each bedroom is supplied with a well stocked beverage tray. If you wish for any of this to be removed before your arrival please let us know.

We do not allow guest dogs or cats to stay in bedrooms 1-3. We allow Assistance Dogs in bedroom 4, on request.
Although we do not have any pets, Langland Cove Guesthouse would not be suitable for anyone with a severe dog allergy as we do (very occasionally) have visiting pets.
